Juicing Lemons & Limes

Do you ever feel like you’re never getting all the juice you possible can out of your lemons, limes, or other types of citrus? Well I’ve been there, and done that.

But look no further. All you need is the citrus you wish to juice and Chef Mike (a microwave). And yes, I said a microwave. As crazy as it sounds, the microwave bursts all those mini juice capsules inside the citrus resulting in every last ounce of juice.

Prior to cutting the citrus in half, microwave it on hight for 10 to 30 seconds (larger fruits might need a little more time). Once done, let the citrus cool for about 30 seconds, slice it in half, and juice as you normally would.

Now that you know how to extract the most juice you possible can out of some limes, its time to make my bartaco copycat margaritas
